You desperately search the net for free softwares that can speed up your PC. You download the software and run the program. What happens? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Why waste your time searching for free softwares when there are secret Windows tools that improve and speed up your PC.
Here are 5  most useful hidden programs along with other programs you didn’t know existed:-

RESOURCE MONITOR
Resource Monitor provides detailed report of your system’s performance along with detailed information about your CPU, memory and hard drive. How is this helpful? It’s helpful to identify and stop programs that are slowing down your computer by hogging system resources.
To open up Resource Monitor, go to Run and type resmon; press Enter. If you identify a resource hog right click its entry in the CPU list and select End Process.

RELIABILITY MONITOR
Reliability Monitor measures hardware and software problems and other changes in your computer. If a particular program or device is causing a lot of errors, you can fix it. To open up Reliability Monitor again go to Run and type perfmon /rel and press Enter.
If you see a red cross as shown in the diagram, click on it to see the information and then choose Check For A Solution. Keep in mind that not always solutions are available.

Windows Memory Diagnostic
You must have heard of this. This program detects possible problems with your computer’s memory that may cause it to freeze and crash. It does appear automatically sometimes and gives you the option of restarting your computer immediately to check for memory problems or waiting until next time you turn it on.
Opening Windows Memory Diagnostic is easy. Go to Run and type memory. A list will appear, search for Windows Memory Diagnostic. When the tool starts, press F1 to choose the type of test to run: Basic, Standard or Extended.

Malicious Software Removal Tool
As the name shows, Malicious Software Removal Tool removes malicious software. I bet you didn’t know it existed. A free malicious software removal tool in your Windows PC! Why search online? But keep in mind it is designed to work alongside your computer’s anti-virus software, not replace it.
To run MSRT, go to Run and type mrt; press Enter. You got three options in here: Quick, Full or Customized scan.

Problem Steps Recorder….What? I know first time you are hearing this name. This useful tool ( Steps Recorder In Win 8) records everything you do onscreen by capturing a picture and giving a text description of each picture. The steps are saved in a file which you can view in your web browser or email to other people. It is really helpful for showing a problem you are experiencing with your computer to someone else.
To launch Problem Steps Recorder, go to Run again and type psr; press Enter. Click Start Record, do what you want on the screen and then click Stop Record. The save box will open automatically.

Snipping Tool
The Snipping Tool does what Print Screen Button does; capturing a snapshot of your computer’s whole screen. But it is more complex than the PrntScr button. You don’t need to paste the snapshot into paint or any other program. Not only that, you can write and draw on what you snip using pen and highlighter tools. There is even a Free-Form Snip option, which lets you draw any shape around an object using your mouse.
To run Snipping Tool, type snipping in the Run command and press Enter.
